The latest generation ICP and CF series inverters are devices designed to generate and control the magnetic field necessary for stirrers in the steel industry. The series of inverters CF (certificated UL) is removable while the series of ICP inverters is not removable.
By varying the agitator control current (module and frequency) the magnetic fields are consequently modified.
The equipment consists of two distinct bridges: the first AC / DC with diodes, allows the conversion of the three-phase mains voltage into fixed direct voltage while, the second DC / AC with IGBT, provides for the conversion into variable voltage and frequency.
The two frequency and current channels are independent of each other, therefore it is possible to set the desired working point of each quantity according to the reference parameters.
The inverter also provides for the insulation control of the stirrer coil by means of an integrated uP system which verifies the earth leakage of the coil at each start.
The inverter control system consists of a DSP with PU300 operator interface for parameter modification, local management and alarm display; also provides for the management of the automation system remotely (PLC) through the integrated Profibus-DP interface.
The equipment is an open machine and is completed by installing it inside an electrical panel with the various devices upon completion. FFE power and control modules
Construction and supply of intelligent IGBT inverter modular units for DC-LINK power supply and recovery in order to create an FFE (Fundamental Front End) which provides for the regeneration in the network and the pre-charging of the inverters powered in the emergency phase and / or dynamic braking.
In addition to fulfilling the various functions described above, the power unit also provides the possibility of carrying out the parallel of several modules by means of a uP device integrated on the interface circuit.
