Within industrial plants it is often necessary to renew and update the control, automation and motor handling system, since, as the mechanical section normally remains unchanged, after a period of about 5-10 years, it presents the following critical issues:

Sistem Power is able to modernize and update the electrical panels of old generation industrial production plants with electrical systems that use modern technologies.
In this way, using new generation PLCs and supervisors, it is possible to implement machines compatible with the pre-existing ones, adding the typical flexibility of automation systems.
The electrical modifications carried out, in compliance with the regulations in force, will be translated into updating the wiring diagrams.
Software changes can also be performed remotely using the teleservice option.
Revamping of electrical power converters
Sistem Power is able to modernize and update old electrical panels of AC / DC and DC / AC power converters, even with electrical powers up to 10 MW at 690 Vac, in new electrical panels that use new electronic devices with lower power thermal dissipation and new drive controllers of the converters.
As an option, it is possible to modernize only the control part of the converters, leaving the power section unchanged, but using new interfacing cards between the existing power section and the new control section.
The control systems of AC/DC converters can be supplied both by Sistem Power and by other companies such as ABB (DCS800) and Siemens (SINAMICS DCM), in which case the revamping activity consists of all the interfacing activities between the power section and the control, including the necessary voltage and current sensors.
