Reliability, continuity of service and efficiency are guaranteed by our dedicated solutions division of power and control.
In our lab rooms we can test up to 25 kA rectifiers and inverters up to 800 A so, for all the converters provided, its thermal test is performed by checking the temperature distribution with a thermal imaging camera. Thanks to these checks and related low operating temperature of the semiconductor it is guaranteed a high reliability and long service life of the equipment supplied. For all the converters it is performed a mathematical computerized simulation in order to properly size the power devices and the associated cooling system. The control systems are based on DSP with a Profibus communication board so that it can be interfaced and integrated into more complex automation systems.
Among the applications of embedded control systems produced, we can include:
• AC / DC converters thyristor 3, 6, 12 pulses for galvanic and DC link
• AC / DC converters, regenerative FFE
• Boards for multimodal parallel converters
• Two and three phase inverter for stirrer with vector control
Among the interface cards producedwe must highlight:
• The optical revamping kit of large thyristor DC converters based on transmission of the command pulses in optical fibers (optical rebuild kit)
• Isolated amplifier boards for reading signals at medium voltage (up to 7 kV) present within the multilevel power converters
Prototyping and third party production
Sistem Power with its R&S division offers the creation of printed circuits with the help of its own dedicated CAD stations and programming of microprocessors and firmware.
The presence of an electronic laboratory within the company allows to create and test the prototypes built before passing them into production.
With the electromechanical division it offers project development with 3D simulation; detailed design of carpentry with descriptive drawings, sheet metal development and formats for parametric programs. Sistem Power enjoys a large group of mechanical machines which allow the creation of mechanical prototypes before being passed into production. Sistem Power is able to develop orders based on customer specifications or specifications to be created by S.P. according to special needs.
